Services At Van Engines value the importance to you of reconditioning your own engine, this allows your van or light commercial vehicle to maintain its original serial numbers and engine codes. The importance of this becomes very apparent when the time comes to either sell or part exchange your vehicle.

When questioned you will find that our competitors will often remove your engine and replace it with a reconditioned engine from their stock, your engine will eventually be reconditioned and installed in someone else’s vehicle.

We only use Original Equipment Manufacturers parts to ensure that your engine provides you with highest level of reliability possible.

Our Process Of Reconditioning

Your vehicle or engine arrives at our precision engineering workshop

The engine is disassembled into its component parts and inspected. This includes fully dismantling the cylinder head and cylinder block. The quality control system identifies all worn or broken elements. Any parts retained for use are cleaned using our specialist system.

The parts requiring machining are engineered to within 1000th of an inch parameters. Newly machined parts pass through our specialist cleaning system. The engine is rebuilt to include OEM bearings, piston rings, gaskets, and seals.

Your engine is then installed into your vehicle with the appropriate filters and fluids. Before leaving the workshop your engine is checked to be in perfect running order utilising our state of the art diagnostic computers.

Our Guarantee to You

We guarantee both our workmanship and the materials that we use for a 6 month unlimited mileage guarantee.

In the unlikely event of a failure we will replace either the parts or the entire engine free of charge and at our discretion. This guarantee is void if you cannot provide evidence that your engine was serviced after the first 500 miles of use from the date of reconditioning.
